Word from the Pastor

Today you will face challenges that will lead you toward fear, anxiety and frustration; or into faith, peace and victory! God really wants to be more involved in your life than you may think. He loves to walk with you through every challenge and show Himself faithful in them. He has you doing what you are doing for two purposes.

One, He wants to test, grow and show your integrity to the world.

Don’t hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. Mt 5:15

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Mt 5:16

You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world. Let your lives shine brightly before them. Phil 2:15

Two, He wants to teach you to follow Him in all you do and then prosper you in it.

The steps of the godly are directed by the LORD. He delights in every detail of their lives. Ps 37:23

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. Isa 1:19

My steps have stayed on your path; I have not wavered from following you. Ps 17:5

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper. Ps 1:1-3

It really is as simple as just asking God to guide and order your day and then believe that He will.

Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by any evil. Ps 119:133
